Daphne Pictures, established in 2016, aims to shed light on powerful people, stories, and places that are often invisible in mainstream media. Our goal is to produce high-quality productions that inspire change, both individually and within the community. Our team is incredibly passionate about film and the importance of raising awareness of relevant economic, political, and social issues. We are a group of highly driven professionals ready to dedicate our time, skills, and expertise to create award-winning films.
Meet Our Founder
Amber Monet
Amber Monet is the founder of Daphne Pictures. She was born in Los Angeles but moved to Philadelphia to study media production at Temple University.
Amber has more than 8 years of experience in filmmaking and production. Her work encompass both fiction and non-fiction projects with a desire to use visual storytelling, music, and dance to tell often hidden or untold stories within communities.
She recently directed and edited a documentary on the life of a famous gospel icon and Kennedy Center honoree, entitled
"The Legendary Marion Williams," which is currently airing on Amazon Prime.
